Over the years, Sydney has lost a lot of heritage buildings as many were demolished to make way for skyscrapers and other modern buildings. Some heritage buildings have survived in the city, sometimes surrounded by contemporary buildings, such as this Darrell Lea chocolate shop on the corner of George Street and King Street.
