Art Gallery of New South Wales

The entrance of the Art Gallery of New South Wales viewed across Art Gallery Road from the Domain. The building was designed by Walter Liberty Vernon in the Federation Academic Classical architectural style and opened in 1897. The banners promote the exhibitions of the Archibald Prize, Wynne Prize and the Sulman Prize, some of Australia's most prestigious art prizes.
