A good friend of mine, a writer named Jeff Essmann, just published a piece about trying to find a room to rent after a very hard time financially, in the Morning News. It's a wonderfully funny and interesting piece. I know I haven't had much to say of late; I thought you might enjoy some really really good prose.
The piece is called "My Name on My Milk."
