Twitter is just oneway blogging.

I don't understand the Twitter at all. Someone found my tweets interesting and useful and decides to follow my tweets.

I receive a message from Twitter regarding the new follower.

I see his profile and tweets. If his/her tweets are useful to me in any way, I follow. If not, I don't decide to follow back.

This is not liked by the new follower and he/she promptly click the 'unfollow' button.

Is this all about Twitter?

You make a comment on a blog post because you have something to say. If your comment is not published, would you stop visiting that blog in future?

You subscribe to blog because you know you will benefit. If your subscription is not reciprocated, will you unsubscribe?

Then, why it is only happening in Twitter?

So, Tweeters are all interested in showing how many people are following their tweets! I don't think it will lead to anywhere.

There are many Twitter tools that will alert you if someone 'unfollows' you so that you too retort back by stop following.

Summary:
I believe Twitter traffic is all hype. If there is no real and genuine networking, Twitter is just oneway blogging.

Free goodies available on Twitter.

Have you ever wanted anything free from the vast web? Things like ebooks, software, articles and even free samples of consumer goods are no doubt available for free abundantly in the internet.

But, it will be nice for once if someone who has used a particular freebie and directs you to where you can get it-right?

Have you tried to search Twitter for free items? Are you aware that there are literally thousands of Tweets that mention about free goodies?

See below some examples:
* Corel Draa Graphics Suite 5
* Internet Marketing software
* Free PPC software
* Autoblogging software
* How to treat back pain e-book
* Growing tall e-book

If you can patiently scan through the results, you may unearth a few gold bars.

Looking for tips on effective usage of Twitter.

I think it has become difficult live without Twitter-right? I am late to join the Twitter train and I am yet to capture its full potential because I still have my doubts over its utility to build blog traffic.

I have been saying this ever since I came to know about Twitter-the micro blogging platform that is taking the Internet community by storm.

But of late, I have been collecting various tools to make the twitter life easy and fun. When someone recommended me to read this book called Twitter Power-How to dominate your market one Tweet at a time, I decided to read feedback on it. This book is authored by the AdSense guru Joel Comm.

There are some in Amazon but I am looking at other avenues. Any tips please?
