Valentine's Day

Little known fact: The holiday is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Valentine and was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 496.

Ever since I was two years old my Dad has taken me out to a Valentine's dinner along with my Mom and later on KK. It was always so fun and special. He sent his three Valentine's these pretty flowers:

Since I was in Fayetteville this weekend I got to be his Valentine again! [disclaimer: Kent was in west Texas quail hunting all weekend with his Dad and brother Matt.]

We ate dinner at Market Place and a cute boy named Spencer waited on us. We left him an extra big tip!

I found this other cute waiter there and begged for a picture with him.

*In case you don't know... two of my brothers work at Market Place. I don't usually run around trying to get pictures with random boys.

Oh Christmas Tree!

My family has waited to get a Christmas tree. Maybe it's a little late, but who cares! I get to help them decorate it because they waited so long. Kent and I are in Fayetteville this weekend to do Christmas with the Shadrachs.

Each year I get to put the angel on top (a paper mache angel I made when I was three). As you can tell, my Dad is having a bit of trouble lifting me up there! I'm not THAT heavy Dad!

[Last] Weekend

My sweet grandparents were in Fayetteville last weekend to visit. It was great to see them.

Fluuuuu

I'm stuck at home today because of the flu. I have so much to do at work right too. I feel like I always get sick when it is the MOST inconvienant.

But....Kent and I had a great long weekend in Fayetteville. We got to hang out with my grandparents who were up from Dallas. We tried our hardest to sell our extra tickets to the Razorback game and couldn't! Stupid Eastern Michigan.
I put together my guest room for FREE and will upload pictures later.
However, have a happy tuesday night! I will be sitting on the edge of my bed tonight watching The Biggest Loser. (I LOVE that show!)

Senior Photo Shoot

This afternoon I went with Stephanie Peters around the Fayetteville town square. She is getting her photography business going and wanted to use me as a guinea pig for her senior pictures. I may be an old senior, but we sure did have a good time!

The Ville

I am headed up to Fayetteville for a weekend of fun! The Hogs are playing Alabama at 11:30! The tailgating will have to get a super early start.... like 9 AM, YIKES!

Also, Kent has a really big fishing tournament this weekend, it is the Trader Bill's Championship. It is a two-day tournament and he will be fishing on Lake Greason on Saturday and Lake Hamilton on Sunday. Hopefully he and his co-angler (like my lingo?!), Rick Duren, will do really well!
