My Android phone

This past week I made a call to get my cellphone fixed... it is an older android phone well anyway they said why bother fixing it because I can get a free upgrade so that is what I did... I got a Samsung Gravity S Captivate. And so far I love it!!! So much faster than my older droid phone.



I have been looking for a antivirus protection for my android cellphone and I have come across this.

This application allows for data backup (contacts and photos), anti-virus protection, and phone loss or theft prevention. You need to create a username and password when you first download the application, once you have done this the main screen shows the three different actions you can use.

Initially when first using the application it automatically scans the entire device and any applications installed for viruses. It also backs up all your contacts and photos to your account on its website. If you lose your phone or it is stolen you can visit the website, log into your account that you made when you downloaded the app, and then you can locate your device on a map, or make it “scream”(sound an alarm). I haven't tried the features of logging into the website and seeing if my data is there yet but I really like the app so far. It doesn't drain my battery so far I will see how it goes after a few more days.
