Breaking News | John Galliano Fired From Dior

In news that will surprise absolutely no one, Christian Dior has begun proceedings to terminate John Galliano's employment in the wake of two race-tinged!
Ever since his Central Saint Martin’s graduate show, Galliano has generated buzz—both for his wild persona and his fantastical runway shows. In addition to over a decade at the helm of Christian Dior, he has held fast to his eponymous label, which includes sunglasses and fragrance. With the renewal of his Dior contract, the John Galliano label is going under the LVMH umbrella, ensuring an even higher profile for the designer, whose era-juggling, sensibility-mixing collections keep him at the tip-top of high fashion.

Dior said in a statement Tuesday that it was beginning legal action to dismiss Mr. Galliano, the 50-year-old designer, whose romantic and theatrical fashion shows revitalized haute couture, following accusations of drunken anti-Semitic rants in Paris.

Feeling very sad that Galliano has to run out of Dior. We won't see those amazing haute couture shows designed by him anymore! :(
