Thirdly, I love scented candles but the ones which have leaded wicks have a tendency to leave a black residue on the walls. Saw this for myself in a home I staged a year ago. We removed pictures from the walls and there were the soot marks. The homeowner’s daughters said that they had burned the scented candles in that room. Needless to say, my seller was not happy.
Lastly, when accessorizing my customers' homes, I like to incorporate flameless candles as a decorative lighting option because they add a certain coziness.
