The Governor cancelled work for state employees today! I literally jumped on the bed when I saw it on the news reel this morning. Snow dayyyyyy! In high school that meant we drove around in some guy friend's truck, sled down the country club's hills and had way too much fun! As a grown up a snow day means I stay inside, COOK, watch movies, and snuggle with Captain Jack.
I made a spinach, mushroom, onion & cheese quiche. The crust was even flakey.... YUM!
Being lazy for day and getting paid to do it without using a vacation day!
I hope everyone in Arkansas is staying warm and has power! I'm off to make those yummy salmon cakes for dinner.
