I would think that Sam Hannon was drowning my brother Clark and Spencer was just standing there watching. Or maybe Sam could be trying to revive Clark because he had drowned.... Either way, when my mom sent me the pictures from Clark's baptism I could not help but think that this is a wierd picture!
I saw the video of Clark getting baptized - Sam (the pastor in the middle of two of my tall brothers) is praying for Clark right before he is about to baptize him. Spencer was standing in the baptismal also, expect as soon as everyone bowed their heads, Spencer started silently dancing in the water. Arms up in the air and everything - Hilarious! A couple people were caught off guard and after the service they asked my Dad why his son would joke around when such a serious thing was taking place - Dad just looked them in the eye and with all seriousness asked " Well why weren't your eyes closed while the pastor was praying?" Anyhow, funny to me, maybe not.
