It's appropriate that they were relocated to a recycling centre because they were salvaged after the Sydney Olympic Games, when a number of these were illuminated and displayed around the city.

St Peters recycle centre
These olympic rings are displayed outside the entrance of a recycling centre in the inner west suburb of St Peters, just off Princes Highway. It's appropriate that they were relocated to a recycling centre because they were salvaged after the Sydney Olympic Games, when a number of these were illuminated and displayed around the city.
