Touch screen laptops at big discount.

Getting used to touch screen laptops would take time for most of us. I got it all wrong when I took a test demonstration at a computer and accessories exhibition four months ago. Having used the mouse for more than 10 years, the right hand involuntarily reached out for the mouse. I left the exhibition without buying a laptop.

A week before, I was asked to chair a seminar on using computer to teach mathematics for primary class children. Imagine my shock and embarrassment when I was given a touch screen laptop to show my power point presentation that my husband developed for me!

I discreetly exchanged the gadget for a traditional laptop with a mouse pad and a mouse. Yes, I am yet to get used to touch pad operation.

During the seminar itself, I realized that touch screen computers would soon obliterate the traditional computers after watching every other participant handling their touch screen laptops with utmost ease.

Why should you buy a Sony VAIO?

My son asked me for what purpose I wanted a new Sony VAIO laptop. I blinked. For what purpose-why of course for my regular usage!

He then asked me if I want a Sony VAIO laptop to play games or do my journalism work. I still can’t understand the direction of the quiz. After all, a computer can be used for many purposes and it is not created to do a specific task!

“Yes, you right if you are taking about just a computer but Sony VAIO is not just any computer mother”-told my son.

“Sony VAIO has several models built for various specific purposes with special features and configuration though one can also use it like an ordinary computer but that would not justification to the Sony geniuses” my son continued.

Well, I must take his word; after all, he knows what he is speaking about as a computer engineer.

A one stop shop to buy mobile phones and laptops.

The year 2001 (if I remember right) saw the first mobile phones in India. The mobile instruments were big in size but abysmally low in communication features.

In the 8 years that followed, something phenomenal has happened.

• Great communication features
• Advanced user interface
• Touch screen
• GPRS
• Reduction in tariff

The list can be even longer. How all this had happened? How the customers are treated as kings and how the mobile companies fall head over heals to service a street vendor who is thinking of buying a mobile phone?

There are myriad reasons and to my mind, the most prominent one is the ability to compare and shop online with the help of websites such as consumermate.com. It is so easy and fun to compare mobile phones in consumermate.com and more over, one can use the “Ask Us” section to post any queries regarding any particular mobile phone model.

Just by using that facility, a prospective mobile phone buyer gets the best deals from different vendors. This facility is extended even to laptops which is a more costly affair and needs careful shopping around.

Don’t waste time searching the entire web for latest deals in Mobile Phones India. Finding the mobile phone that fits your budget or that has the right features you want is just a breeze in consumermate.com

How to save buckets of money?

Computers that are usually dependable, ditch us only at the wrong time always. While we have not much work to do with the desk top, it will standby you like a pet dog; but occasionally, it will fall sick when we want its support the most.

Oh, well, after all they are machines!

My desk top lost its source to the power and thus refused to wake up on last Wednesday. Fortunately, I have a macBook as a standby. But it is not always idle; my son uses it as a game console.

Now, I think I need to purchase another laptop that is ultra portable. I used to check up online to compare prices of notebook PCs before deciding on the brand. So, I visited Save Buckets and searched for ultra portable notebook. I was recommended Asus Eee PC by a few forum members.

But my son was of the opinion that the ThinkPad X series of ultra portables from Lenovo have always been excellent systems.

Hmmm…, now I am faced with a difficult task; Lenovo or Asus Eee PC. Hey, what about Toshiba Laptops? But whatever I decide to buy, I am sure of saving fair amount dollars by buying from Savebuckets.co.uk

Since I have been using the laptop for the past 7 days, I am finding it much easier to use than a desk top. Laptop since portable, I could take it to my cozy couch and work without back and neck pain.
