Are you a considerate shopper for Christmas gifts?

I am glad I changed my mind at the last moment while selecting Christmas gifts. Instead of buying 6 beautiful christmas coffee mugs, I paid for an equal number of snowman wine glasses that appealed to me. It would be certainly a first time for my former employer.

Look at both the Christmas coffee cup and the snowman wine glasses. Don’t you think it is difficult to choose between the two?

I know there is still lot of time but I am an early bird and wise too. I cannot shop peacefully when I am jostled by the holiday shopping crowd. Though online shopping is an easy option, I enjoy an outing in the sun during winter.

As an afterthought, instead of giving just the wine glasses, I also bought a bottle of wine. Very considerate of me-eh?

Shameless appreciation for gifts bought from Red Envelope.

Yes, I am biased towards red Envelope when it comes to buying grandma gifts or for that matter gifts for all ages. I am a very choosy mother while buying gifts for any occasion. I like sophisticated and stylish gifts that convey my rich taste. I can find them only in redenvelope.com

My recent purchase from them is a pair of rich red throw pillows. I just bought them for no reason except that I like red bedding items. Once in a way, I used to gift myself like this.

Occasionally, I would end up spending more when someone expresses shameless appreciation for my purchase and I have to return their compliments in kind.

Needless to say, I would again approach red Envelope for satisfying my ego.

Bright gift ideas for men in office.

Software professionals are the dullest companions in office atmosphere.

They would be totally glued to their computers and you could not get them distracted on any pretext. Therefore, I accept I have no bright Office Gift Ideas for men or women.

On the other hand, if you want me to suggest the most ideal gifts for men in Government offices, I have several aces up my sleeve.

For fast workers in office who keep their desk clean always, I would suggest magnetic toys because such men would look for something to fiddle as they while away their spare time.

Some men in office would be absent mindedly twirling the ubiquitous desk top globe. For them you could send a floating globe (see below) that hangs on the midair held by the magnetic stand.

If you have any suggestions for office gift ideas for women, please email me. I am really short of ideas.

Birthday gift ideas for twins.

I, for once, thought differently while coming up ideas for eighteenth birthday gifts for two girls who are twins. I bought 18 lovely looking strawberry shaped chocolates that were colorfully decorated.

I then packed them in a bamboo basket and arranged it to send it to the girls through a special messenger. I did not place any note. I thought the gift conveyed what I felt.

Immediately after the gift was delivered, the twins called me and thanked me for not sending two separate gifts. Twins share everything in life until they get married!

Soon after, their mother called me; I could detect tears in her voice. She told me that I taught her a lesson that she would never forget in her life.

No matter however carefully you buy two birthday gifts for twins, the human tendency to compare will certainly generate dissatisfaction.
