Chinese Fashion Showcase Vienna | 11 festival for fashion & photography


Another  revew to the 6th day of the 11 festival for fashion and photography on Saturday 11th of June 2011.
Four young Chinese designers showed their collections in the "Chinese Fashion Showcase Vienna". The initiative and on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture -Arts Department. The collections were showed from Hiu Man Chau, Na (too), Judy Hua Zhai Keever, who gave to the audience an insight into the Austrian fashion design from the Far East - and thrilled!

It was an exotic night!  I was so happy to attend this fabulous fashion show by young Chiniese designers.The tour of the exhibition "The Culture of Cultural Revolution" at the Museum of Ethnology was the prelude trip to China.

Departure Fashion Night | 11 festival for fashion & photography


A review to the 5th day of the 11 festival for fashion & photography, on Friday 10th June 2011.
The departure fashion night, was a great show with talented new austian designers, interestig clothes and a great background music. The designers who showed theri collections, were: Brandmair, Muehlbauer, Petar Petrov, rosa mosa which was a superated Austrian fashion design show at the international level.  The show was supported by Mühlbauer Victoria Volksbank.

Andrej Pejic the supermodel gave the show a little extra glam.

Already in the afternoon was a fascinating insight into the collections at Museum of Art History were obtained. Fashion fascination – from the past and the future!

TIMLESS ELEGANCE // The basics of good design never change

Vienna is not only famous about the classical music, sacher cake or apfel strudel  - but about the Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshop).
NWW was a production community of visual artists Josef Hoffann and Koloman Moser.
 Leather goods, enamel, jewellery, postcards as well as ceramic the Wiener Werkstatte even had a hat department. After the First World War, the Wiener Werkstätte was influenced by a new generation of artists and craftsmen. The most important impulses came from Dagobert Peche. They work covered all areas of residential life and cultured living.

Wood Panels look very sophisticated and elegant, which provide the aura of coiziness to any home. It comes in many types depending on the type of wood used.

Dark wood panel walls combined with white, cream and caramel tones. Splendid!
