Your beauty needs are met.
We might feel comfortable to ask someone on the phone because, we don't have to show our face. Similarly, posting question in any online forum is easy to do.
Here is an ideal solution for all of us to ask questions like:
* Can I use protein powder to loss weight?
* What kind of wedding gown is suitable to wear in summer?
* Do brides wear disposable huggies?
To ask these types of questions, you need not face anyone. You can ask anonymously in
http://www.makeuptalk.com/f/
This forum is very actively participated. It is a big store of information for both women and men for beauty and health care issues.
BTW, I am in the process of developing a beauty and fashion blog. I intend to install a forum for this blog.

Do you know the book of myriad things?
I have this crazy habit of reading several years old Reader's Digest. The articles, stories, jokes and the real life drama are always refreshing to me even after I read again years later.
Here is one such trivia that I am sharing with you.
Everyone of us without exception would like to know the answers to so many questions that arise in our daily life.
What is the best cure for headache?
Is it a good day to start a business?
Are cats good pets?
What is the implication of a recurring dream?
If only we have a book that asks and answers all our common questions...?
We are not that fortunate but the Chinese are. They have what is supposed to be the oldest almanac in the world called "T'ung Shu". It means "Book of myriad things".
Do you know the date of this almanac? Hold your breath; It was produced in China in 2256 B.C.
It contains folk remedies, charts and predictions, proverbs, palmistry etc.

Paper shower is useful for wipe on the go.

The video chat session with my son is a routine. Every Sunday, he would come online at 4.00 PM and it would go on till 6.30 PM. Yes, it is all personal between a mother and her only son living in Norway.
Last Sunday, he excused himself for a slight delay. He wanted to take a bath. He came back in less than 2 minutes! How can anyone take a bath in just two minutes?
My son told me that he took a paper shower!
I sat up bolt straight. Paper Shower! Now, this is getting weird. My son then showed a pack of paper towelettes, one wet and one dry. All you need to do is use the wet towelette first and then use the dry one to wipe off the moisture. It is pretty effective he said.
Hmmm.. I am sure paper shower should be made available in Indian trains and it would be a definite hit among passengers.

English cricketer Patel resorts to ancient trick.
The next natural thing would be for any such team would be to pull up their socks and try to play a better cricket. That is what a true sportsman would do!
Oh no! Not us says the English cricket man Samit Patel. I am sure his name would not ring a bell among genuine cricket lovers. Therefore, let me introduce him to you. Samit Patel plays for England cricket team and bats somewhere lower.
I don't know how he bats but he surly can play cricket with his mouth. He declared grandly that the entire English team is going to abuse the Indian cricket team on the ground. The euphemism for that brave act is 'sledging'.
He is quoted saying that England would carry on sledging in an attempt to "get the Indians out of their comfort zone." (Source: http://cricket.yahoo.com/cricket/news/article?id=item/2.0/-/story/cricket.ani.com/two-defeats-hands-india-forces-england-resort-sledging-20111019/)
Of course Mr.Patel, we don't expect anything more from you.
--->Yeah, that's him-Samit Patel

Thank you T.N.E.B.
I was taken aback by the scene in my street. There was a police patrol, several neighbors spilled on to the street and then I noticed the acrid smell. The electricity distribution box got burnt completely.
My heart sank. This meant there won't be power for another 15 to 16 hours. Due to the intervention of some politicians, the technical staff of electricity board gave us temporary connection which is available even as I am writing this.
Thank you EB!

Thanks to Chennai Super Kings.

Thanks to Chennai Super Kings for the meek surrender to a team that bothered none so far in the Champions League 2011. With their exit from the tournament, CSK has helped thousands of its ardent fans to stay away from television thereby saving them time and money.
I will never watch any cricket match hereafter which is going to save me thousands of valuable hours. Already, millions of Indian cricket fans were forced to lose their interest due to Indian cricket team's spineless performance in England.
The poor performances of CSK, RCB and Mumbai Indians would make the crickets stands empty. The revenue drop will hit the BCCI and their pride will take a severe beating.
Goodbye cricket and Goodbye Indian cricket team!

More business means poor customer care.
The buses were terribly crowded. They moved at less than 30KM per hour on an average. The behavior of the bus conductors were rude. They were so polite about 30 years ago. Man, where they have all gone!
When I have certainly improved my social behavior in the last three decades, I found it the other way in many places including hotels and restaurants where at any given time, the tables are full.
It must be the crowd that is getting at bus conductors and hotel staff.
Many ancient temples are in deplorable condition due to lack of patronage where as popular temples located conveniently attract more people these days.
Ah yes! We all want comfort even to pray and we would like very much to head back to the air-conditioned hotels rooms immediately after exiting the temples and that's why we prefer to go to temples that are conveniently located.

How you and I can help revive the world economy.

It is imperative to realize how much food we are wasting daily. The present economic scenario demands that we take immediate steps to stop wasting food.
One way to make us realize how much food is being thrown away is put a small board near the garbage bin under the kitchen sink and write on it the amount of food it contains. We have to weigh the wastage daily at the end of the day and write it down on the reminder board.
This will make us conscious of how much we cook and how much we eat and how we can reduce the wastage.
The credit for this idea should go to a multinational software company based in India where my son is working as a software engineer. This concept is being followed in the dining hall of the company.
News you must read:
"Dawn breaks in Bulawayo. A trail of squatting silhouettes can be seen lining a stretch of the road that runs through a poor township. Men and women scramble to pick up barely visible grains of maize and toss them into pots, buckets – all sorts of containers.-Africa Stories

Living a vicarious life.
I wonder why people are so obsessed with celebrities? Why can't they admire and become a fan of respected leaders or scientists or poets? Surely, there are no dearth of them.
Do these people live that life through the celebrity?
Are they ready to undergo all the pains that their heroes and heroines have suffered to reach the stardom?
Living a vicarious life is such a waste of time.

Money swallowing monster.
Why do they take so much time to get their customers account credited with recharge amount?
This is a high speed communication era. It takes only a few seconds to let anyone know what you are doing at present and the whole world knows about it instantly.
Online banking transactions are great boon to individuals and corporate bodies. The money is almost immediately debited as soon as you send money to anyone's bank account. But Dish TV alone takes more than 48 hours to acknowledge the receipt of payment.
Earlier, before I stopped receiving their messages on my mobile, as soon as I receive a payment acknowledgement message, I would receive another message asking me to pay my subscription.
In order to cut down such confusing messages, I opted out of their short messaging service.
Yesterday, I transferred the monthly subscription to their account from my ICICI bank account. To my astonishment, my satellite TV service was disconnected. When I called up Dish TV and conveyed my payment details, they said they did not receive it!
I have complaints about Dish TV's technical aspects. But their customer service from administrative side is far from satisfactory.
I am sure my money was swallowed in cyber space by cyber monster.

Who needs a financial adviser?
Everybody these days are extremely aware of their financial management especially after the big American banks went under that sent the world economy into a tailspin.
No one has forgotten how Indian economy stayed afloat amidst widespread financial panic with the exception of Indian stock Exchanges that seem so much to depend on American economy. An offhand remark by an American politician would have adverse effect on the Indian bourses.
Even my son who has been employed since three years is so much knowledgeable when it comes to spending his salary or saving for the future.
So, who needs financial advisers?

This is real folks! Not a film shooting.
What a shot! I mean, the photo, not the other! Ha, ha, this is the living in India. It is news photo in Yahoo! News.
This incident took place in Assam in which a policeman and a Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti supporter clash. The exact location is Guwahati, the capital of Assam.
The photographer must have been very close to the scene of action as is evident from the clarity of the photo and other minute details that the image shows.
Hey, there is something odd here! The other policemen are looking elsewhere and not at the man to woman clash that was happening just a few feet from them!

Indians are facing tough times with call centers.

Call center technology is a total failure in India. I think it is very much under developed and operated by not all that sincere and efficient personals. I also suspect that they are not given access to data that are vital for communication with the callers.
Even educated people like me who can speak English very well are finding it tough to communicate with call center employees.
A few hours before, I had a horrible time to speak to a customer care executive of my bank. When finally I heard a human voice, I found myself begging to the responder not to disconnect the call on silly pretexts that would make me start all over again repeating who am I, why I have called and what I wanted.
Oh man, this is really frustrating.
Forget about SEO.
When I sat in front of my computer and started inputting the necessary details in my favorite SEO analysis tool, I was amused to find a few statistics that proved that no one can decipher the Google algorithm and also it seemed that it even surprised Google at times.
The web audit report of my target URL and its competitors threw all my understanding of SEO into garbage.
Conclusion:
Just build your web site naturally without considering the search engine spiders and keep updating the content as and when it is necessary. Go with the wind and participate in a few social media networks and enlist in Google locals.

26 years of married life.
I will make some sweets and will consume a little more of them than any other day. That is the only treat I give myself.
In the first few years after marriage, there will be several callers to wish but as years roll on, the wishes stop. I think they have had enough and so too I.
After 26 years of married life, only your immediate family matters-eh?
Therefore, why give importance to anything in this world? Good or bad tends to fade away. Time is a wonderful healer.

The women bloggers in India.
Recently, I have befriended (digitally of course) a woman blogger named Kavita Tata. She runs a blog at http://www.sfihomebizz.com
Her Tweets are frequent and related to my niche. All my earlier women bloggers friends use to blog about blogging, blog promotion, blog monetization. Now they are all replaced by Kavita.
Are there more of you women bloggers? Are there any from Chennai.? I met a few women bloggers from Chennai some time ago. They are all interested in movie gossips only.
May be I should seek Kavita's help in finding more women bloggers from India.

Did you try Aloo Panneer Tikki?
Even at this weather, the food was excellent as ever in Taj Mahal hotel; I thought it was even better than six years ago. I remembered Gopal, a hotel staff who used to offer good service. I met him yesterday. His faces showed age and the heat.
Hotel Taj Mahal added a few new dishes in their menu. I tried Aloo Panneer Tikki. It was a big dish served with 4 different accompaniments. In addition, it was filling. I had to skip dinner.
There was more crowd in Kacheguda railway station, most of them were women wearing black veil.
The railway station sold fresh cold water at cheap rates.
I like Hyderabad mainly for the food and fruits.
