Valentine's Lapbook

We have not done a Valentine's lapbook in a few years and I am going to do one with all my daycare kids also. So they will have it done come valentine's day. I will make my daughters more geared to her age then the other little ones just to give her more of a challenge. So here is where I will post my different ideas of what I should use in the lapbooks.

Question from my comments: How long does it take to do a lapbook or do I spend on them?
Lapbooks sometimes take a week to do but most often usually a couple of days because we add so much crafty stuff to them. I plan to do the ant lapbook in two days and of course I will be taking pictures of the lapbook once it is done and probably some during. We do others that work out to be more than a week to do at times. Just depends on Shaylin's interest but I have condensed these so they won't take long.

Hurricane Lapbook

I am on a yahoo group and someone shared the most wonderful link with us all it is Weather Wiz Kids it will teach your children about weather. We are starting a hurricane lapbook here on Monday to go along with our Sonlight curriculum.

We didn't go into much of the history and stuff as my LO
is just too young for that and she was definitely lose interest.

We have been working on our Penguin Lapbook this week and we plan to have it done come Monday or Tuesday. I love our local library and that I get to borrow everything for FREE!!!! The best is putting the things on reserve and then just going in and picking up what I need when I am in a hurry.

This is the puzzle paperclipped at the bottom of her lapbook. :) She loved doing this puzzle I just wish I would have printed it on cardstock instead of regular paper.
