How to Make a Fall Floral Arrangement

I saw this cute floral arrangement at Daisies and Olives flea market in Prairie Grove last week. And it was $85. Yikes.

I went to Oop's in Tontitown to see what I could find to make an arrangement on my own.

I wanted something different to hold the arrangement than the standard basket or vase. I found this cute, wooden birdcage for $10.00.

And a bunch of sticks, flowers and moss for another $20.00.

First I put the green floral foam inside the birdcage.

Then I went outside to fill the cage with moss.

I started putting the tall sticks in first.

And then started putting in the other greenery and flowers.

The final product:

Here it is on my Mom's dining room table.

Very "fallish" but not overwhelmingly so.

I think I like my $30 birdcage arrangement much better than my original $85 inspiration!
