budget cuts.... feeding a family on $50 a week or less...




I am trying really hard to feed our family healthy food without going over $50/week.

Going to pick up some food for the week and I don't plan on spending more than $50.

Here is my menu plan for the week:

Monday
  • breakfast - cold cereal
  • lunch - grilled cheese
  • dinner - pork chops, rice n' veggies
Tuesday
  • breakfast - oatmeal
  • lunch - mac n' cheese
  • dinner - spaghetti n' salad
Wednesday
  • breakfast - toast n' yogurt
  • lunch - sandwiches
  • dinner - chicken for the slowcooker

Thursday
  • breakfast - oatmeal
  • lunch - Pizza buns n' salad
  • dinner - tacos, rice, chips n' salsa

Friday
  • breakfast - waffles
  • lunch - leftovers
  • dinner - roast beef, potatoes, veggies
