Supatra Titled As World’s Hairiest Girl
A young girl, dubbed “Wolf Girl” has gained the title of World’s Hairiest Girl, as recognized by Guinness World Record.
Supatra had been teased her whole life because of a rare genetic condition causing thick hair to grow all over her face.
Two years ago she was plagued by other children calling her 'monkey face' and 'wolf girl'. It often left her in cry because of strangers stopping in the street to point at her.
But since then ten-year old Supatra - nicknamed Nat - has been named the 'hairiest girl in the world' and astonishingly, her new-found fame has helped her become one of the most popular girls in her school.
Supatra, from Pranakom, Thailand, says: 'I'm very happy to be in the Guinness World Records. All I did was answer a few questions about myself and then they gave it to me.'
Supatra reveals that getting the award has boosted her assurance and she has taken up dancing, singing, and acting.
She loves listening to Thai pop music and makes her own dance routines to the newest hits with her friends.

Maritime Journalist Discovered World's Oldest Aircraft Carrier
The worlds' oldest aircraft carrier which was a forerunner to today's giant Navy vessels has been discovered - rusting by a river bank.
Looking like another just another rusting hull poking out of the water, for years the big dirt covered rusting wreck in the Thames was unnoticed. But a maritime journalist found the vessel was a 1918 Thorneycroft Seaplane Lighter.
Although at just 58 feet long it looks nothing like the contemporary HMS Ark Royal - which is more than ten times as long - the broken vessel was the first of the kind. The tiny craft, discarded in the river like a shopping trolley or part of litter, would have seen action during the First World War as aircraft carriers were introduced for the first time.
Now it is being restored by experts at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Somerset after being recovered from the water. Iinitially it would have carried one plane that was launched by being towed into the wind - and then recovered after it was discarded into the sea on landing.
Jon Jefferies, from the museum, said the small vessel was a important find. 'It's only tiny but it's this ship that led to the growth of the massive modern aircraft carriers,' he said.
'It's the world's first aircraft carrier and at the time the Ark Royal is decommissioned it's fitting it's being restored to its unique state.' Several of the craft's original features have been revealed by experts as they work restore it.
Phalaenopsis Orchids - Poise and Grace
Orchids are beautiful, elegant plants that bring peace to their surroundings. Placed in any room an orchid in bloom fills a room with serenity and grace. One of the most recognized orchids is phalaenopsis (pronounced fal-en-op-sis) with its round petals and dramatic flowers.
Not only beautiful, the phalaenopsis orchid flowers can last for months and although they look delicate are quite hardy. Phalaenopsis have become one of the most popular variety of orchids because of their low maintenance and delicate balance of poise and elegance. Their long bloom makes for a very good value. Phalaenopsis will bloom year after year with some care.
TIPS for caring for your plant:
• Phalaenopsis enjoy much the same temperature range as we do. Nighttime 60-65°F, daytime 75-85 °F. Occasional deviations will not harm your plant.
• Phalaenopsis will flourish in indirect sunlight.
• Water once a week to keep moisture just below the surface of the medium.
• Phalaenopsis enjoy moist air, with a humidity level of 55-75% being ideal.
• Feed your plant once a month with a high nitrogen food. In this instance, less is more. So be sure not to overdo it.
• Plants should be repotted every other year in a medium-grade wood bark.
• When the last bloom drops, cut your flower spike halfway down the stem. Continue caring for it and wait for a re-bloom every six months or so.
NKO just provided beautiful phalaenopsis orchids for a wedding at the Grand Hyatt Resort Poipu. If you have an event that you would like to use this orchid give us a call. We also have spectacular dendrobium orchids. All orchids are special order by lots ONLY and not part of nursery inventory.

OSCARS 2011
And the Oscar goes to...
But as we all know there's a LOT more to the OSCARS then just those lucky few whom actually get to bring the gold man home.. how about What they WORE!!!
Ok so lets start with one of the HOTTEST colors to wear on the red carpet.. RED!
absolutely LOVED Anne's dress! She looked gorgeous! and although her and Jame's got some not so great commentary on their performance I loved the 2 of them! Great job for some fresh faces!
I can honestly tell you that Jennifer Hudson may just be my ALL time award season winner for best dressed this year! She looked stunning!
Although I cant say Sandra was necessarily one of my Favorites! I thought just like the other ladies she did a great job pulling off this bold bright color! I also thought it was a step-up from her "too young" bangs she wore earlier in the award season!
And now for the more nudes, and metallic jeweled looks!
At first I wasn't in love with Michelle's look, however after seeing her in a few different angles, and how much it seemed to just fit her right in all the right places, it quickly turned into one of my favorites! She has become such a gorgeous woman and one can truly see her maturity through this gown!
Although Florence may of made it on many of the "worst" look lists, I actually really liked her in this! She's not going to be super glamorous, and thats ok! I loved the flowy dress that matched her flowy hair! For her this look worked!
Oh Gwyneth! I just adore her, and really as many said she looked like her own Oscar! (even if that may be corny!) Her drop dead body looked amazing in this super sleek gold gown! And I loved her super straight hair with it all!
This was another look that I wasn't crazy about, right away! (especially with the headband) But as I saw her on the carpet, I realized for this young 14 year old it was perfect! I loved the shorter hemline on her, she doesn't need the long gown, come on shes ONLY 14!
Ok so I admit that as much as I do LOVE me some feathers and sequins, Hilary Swank might of gone over board just a little! If the dress was cut a little shorter I think it could of worked, however as many people have already made the comments, it looked like she was trying to dust the red carpet...
Don't get me wrong I do adore Amy Adams! I think she is extremely talented and absolutely gorgeous, but NOT last night! her hair was a little too-big and out of control, and although I do LOVE me some sequins (as said previously) this was just too much, and by far the WORSE was the emerald choker necklace, we don't need diamonds on sequins...
I can't say this is my all time favorite on Mila, but this was a gorgeous dress, and I think it was great to see Mila in this soft lavender color! It had just enough detailing without going overboard!
And last and unfortunately probably LEAST..was my disappointment in Reese! Oh how I normally just love her, but I couldn't of liked this gown on her anymore.. It reminded me of Julia Robert's dress back in 2001 at the Oscars, although it was quite different, I just feel like the black and white gown was years AGO! (wayy too much beauty queen, and NOT movie super star!)
Well I hate to say it but it looks as if the fun has come to an end.. until next year!
and of course a HUGE congrats to all the winners and nominees!

Avant-Garde 83rd annual Academy Awards
James Franco, in Gucci, with Anne Hathaway, in Givenchy Haute Couture.
Isn't she adorable? Just look at the glow!!! Pregnancy looks so cute on Natalie Portman, even though she doesn't look pregnand here. She is wearing Rodarte gown, with Tiffany & Co. jewels and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Dear Jenny Lawrence, next time you should wear something more glamorous! Jennifer wears Calvin Klein red dress, with Chopard jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch.
Oh Cinderella!!! Hailee Steinfeld, in Marchesa, with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and clutch. So adorable.
Mila Kunis, in Elie Saab Couture, with Neil Lane jewels. I don't know, but somehow this dress looks like lingerie? Altough, this gown suited her perfectly.
Amy Adams in L'Wren Scott, with Cartier jewels. Everything suited well on her, especially the Emerald Cartier jewels combined with amazing dress, looks wonderful on her!
Mandy Moore, in Monique Lhuillier, with Harry Winston jewels. Same goes for Mandy too, she has to choose another color of the dress next time, this nude color makes her look like white cheese. But Monique Lhuillier is always a perfect choice for the red carpet.
Anne Hathaway, in vintage Valentino Haute Couture, with Tiffany & Co. jewels, and Valentino Garavani. Anne looked gorgeous in red - she changed into 4 different gowns and a Lanvin suit.
I don't know the Sunrise Ruffalo's dress from which designer is, but this dress fits her very well.
The super thin Jennifer Hudson, in Atelier Versace, with Neil Lane jewels. If someone starts complaining that he/she can't lose weight, must see Jennifer as a perfect example, she lost 30 pounds!!! Jennifer looks beautiful on her new shape and orange dress, except the décolleté!
Cate Blanchett was always my favorite and she knows exactly what to wear for the Red-Carpet. This time she wears Givenchy Haute Couture, with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels. Splendid, I just love love love it!
Michelle Williams, in Chanel Haute Couture, with Harry Winston jewels. Next time she has to choose another color for her dress, this nude dress makes her look even more pale.
Jeremy Renner, in Yves Saint Laurent, and Scarlett Johansson, in Dolce & Gabbana.
Can you believe she gave birth to TWINS just a few months ago?
As usually, very elegant Celine Dion, in Armani Privé, with Bulgari jewels.

Halle Berry, in Marchesa, with Neil Lane jewels.
Something is happening to Halle! As we saw her on Golden Globes last time, she was wearing a totally not elegant dress, for the Academy Awards Halle shows us a nude swan look-a-like.

Holy Mother of God, few months ago Penélope Cruz gave birth and looks baginn' hot in L'Wren Scott together with her best accessorie Javier Bardem, in Gucci.
C'monn Sharon keep smiling, you look great!!! Sharon Stone, in Dior.
I love her! Hilary Swank, in Gucci Premiere, with Anna Hu jewels and a Roger Vivier clutch. No matter what she wears, looks good on her. She has the perfect body!
Red looks great on Sandra, good choice! Sandra Bullock, in Vera Wang.
Always fashion-forward Gwyneth Paltrow, in Calvin Klein Collection, with Louis Vuitton jewels.
